The best autumn wardrobe pieces are the ones that layer well and keep the rest of your closet moving.

When you are shopping fall, look for pieces that can change roles. A knit should work alone and under a coat. A vest should make sense with trousers, jeans, and skirts. That is how a small wardrobe starts feeling bigger.
